Christie Aims to Revive Enforcement of Federal Marijuana Law

WASHINGTON — Jun 7, 2015, 2:39 PM ET

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he'd revive enforcement of federal marijuana law in states that have legalized recreational use of the drug if he were president.
And he says if that position causes him political trouble in battleground Colorado, so be it. He says he won't pander to voters or hide his positions for political expediency.
Federal and some state laws on marijuana are in conflict. But the federal government has adopted a hands-off approach to states with lenient marijuana laws. The Justice Department has told such states that it won't challenge their laws so long as marijuana is tightly regulated. Colorado is one of them.
Christie spoke Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation." He says he'll decide this month whether to seek the Republican presidential nomination.

so legalization is still reversible in the near future? that is scary, all it takes is a next republican president

He doesn't stand a chance of getting elected........ so don't sweat it.

This piece of crap is my Governor. He has Zero chance of even getting the Republican Nomination. Oh and he looks sexy as hell in a Baseball Uniform......NOT!!!!

How could a nation trust a man to make life and death decisions for an entire nation when he can't even control his own weight problem.

Legalization being considered in NJ! Woot! :watchplant:
This guy seems to be out of touch with the people he serves.

From NORML.org

New Jersey: Marijuana Legalization Legislation to be Introduced in 2015

Legislation is expected to be introduced in the 2015 legislative session to legalize and regulate the adult use of marijuana in New Jersey.
The anticipated legislation would regulate the commercial cultivation, processing, and retail of marijuana to adults over the age of 21.
New Jersey is one of a growing number of states where lawmakers are considering regulating cannabis for adults. NORML will continue to update you in the coming weeks as this proposal moves forward. For more information visit New Jersey NORML's website or Facebook page.

Who said, The Penguin? You called it. LOL

I have an idea--Let's see if we can get trans fats illegalized in NJ!

And he had weight loss surgery???? That picture rocks...LOL it tells what a dweeb/dork/pansy *** he is...

he had lap band surgery to decrease the size of his stomach. the problem here was he had a horrible diet, and gastric bypass surgery isn't going to change a lifetime of bad eating habits. the same applies to his leadership ability and him being a bully. he does not represent the kind of person who can lead this country to greatness, only make his rich friends richer.
