ive heard it basicly the same as if you cloned from a seed plant. same general rules- ive heard mixed thoughts about it though..i tend to lean in the it dosent make a big difference direction based on what ive seen grown and sampled
 
You can take cutings from it as soon as it is big enough to not suffer from the loss, the "no more than 1/3 of the plant" rule is a pretty good one.
 
Hey! Taking clones from clones involves many, many theories. The best practice is to observe your "mother" plant and take clones only when the plant is at it's best.

Try to involve NO stress to either the clone or the host.

Making your cutting under water is the best advice I can give you. Make your first cut where appropriate and then hold the cutting under water to make the final cut. Immediately dip the fresh cutting into a rooting hormone and put it into an undisturbed bed of either rockwool or it's equivalent.
