My dogs want out in the middle of the night to go hunting. For some reason they think the rabbits are awake and want to be chased. Two nights in a row my growing room got down to around 50 degrees. The dogs pushed the front door open; I was sleeping upstairs and didn't notice. My plants are a week into 12-12. Do you think this can harm them?

morning BB....at temps 60F and below, plant growth nearlly stops. But no actual "damage" is done. MJ will survive temps down to freezing for short periods.

Have read several places it is actually better to lower night temperature. Was just looking at some beautiful lavender bud and the color was attributed to cooler "night" temperatures. What cha think?

cool temps "do" promote purpleing in mj buds by inhibiting the uptake and utilization of "P" in the medium, causing a slight defficiency, which expresses as purple coloring.
