I have this question in my mind like a month..

Assume that the mother has 2 branches and i take both to clone. Where do the new branches come out again? From the same points where i took the clones or from different points?

different point,s they will not grow back where you cut them.

Please check the image below. Do the new cuttings will come from yellow arrows in the picture?

Red arrow was the clone that i cut a week ago.

they will grow new shoots from the nearest intact node, if that be from off the mainstem then that's where it shoots from. It will not regenerate from the cut area...
