a friend gave me a box of Cyco nutrients, the platinum line says the box it came in...12 quarts for a plants cycle but what a gyp, in the fine print it says the user needs to buy 3 more bottles to have a successful crop...has anyone here tried this stuff in DWC or other wet environments...I figured I'd ask before wasting my time...I was thinking of trying it on a DWC tree I let run wild...

I used Cyco nutrients for a while. The story I was given was the creator was someone who was employed as a scientist for Advanced Nutrients and then had a split with them, broke off and created his own nutrient line but don't quote me..

I remember having good success with Cyco. It is definitely a multi part system. Components are pricey.
I only ended up using it for a bout a year due to it's high cost. Switched back over to lucas formula after that, now I used Advanced Nutrients and will never look back.

I have heard good things about it. But like AN you need to use pretty much the full line. IMO
Not necessarily. You do have to use certain key components but..A+B, B52, Big bud and Overdrive(Your flowering nutes, basically early and mid to late cycle) and Nirvana have grown many a great crop for me. Recently I will admit I have added a few of their other things but those are the core. Advanced is not the cheapest option to go , but with Ph perfect technology, I get great results with their products. Better than I ever did using Lucas formula, Floranova or any of those other nute companies.

Another thing I remember about Cyco nutrients is just like Van de Schwann, they have components in their system that you can't even buy in the USA, due to FDA rules, or some shit. I always thought that was weird. How toxic is that crap?

makes me think of the original roots accellerator, wow did that stuff blow up my roots...they took it off the market here in the states, really pissed me off...root porn was easy with the real roots...

Right there with you on AN but I also use Rhino and Candy as well. Plus sups of course.

Yeah just what I read online. Usually Silica amendments act as a natural pH up. Always worried me so I never used it.

With you on the AN. My motorbreath15 look like the dinosaur days type plants.

Have not used rhino stuff. I do add Ancient Earth, B-52, Big bud, Nirvana, Bud Candy, Sensizym, and Sensi-cal.

Sensi-zyme is one I should probably be using too but never feel like spending the extra dough on it.

Humboldts Secret Starter kit. Plus, Sweet and Sticky (HS) is what I'm working with. So far it seems to be working. Plants are sweet and sticky.

That's the way I feel about BudIgnitor. 60.00 for the small bottle iirc.

When I used Ocean Forest I prepped them Nirvana, piranha and tarantula ( beneficial) and Nirvana and carbo load to feed them.

The Pro Mix already says it has beneficials so feed them the sweet stuff.
