Does any one else tie their outter branches inward?

I noticed that I have some very good looking buds on the cusp of the edge of my lighting. So i thinned the canopy some. Then tied those limbs pulling them into direct light. I made sure they arent shading any other smaller buds or big ones.. But want them getting more direct light. The par values fall off a lot around the edges. Now they're in the sweet spot. I truly hope this ups my weight

Sounds like a good plan A GOOD PLAN whoops
I use bamboo stakes ne brach per Bamboo
and yes I difoliate the large stuff as buds swell

An added plus is the lower buds are now lifted closer to light too,

I didn't think of that. I used twist ties and just pulled them over and anchored
