It seems to me that someone was making or did make a double "Cool Tube", which is what I am trying to do but it is too short. I believe that the "no-hub" couplings might be wrong. They are only 2" wide. The photo shows that it is nearly done. I had to pull out my wire-feed welder to attach the lamp all-thread to a bracket that I mounted on the rear of the mogul socket. I could not find the type of type of mogul sockets that THG used. THG, how wide are the couplings that you used?
The electrical supply house wanted $30 each for the standard type. I found an electrician that salvages the old ones and he gave me a brand new one! The other is from my mercury vapor fixture.
Any suggestions?
