I have been using standard silk screen poly mesh for years for both water hash and dry sift.
Lately, I have seen stainless screen available for dry sifting.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience comparing the stainless and the poly mesh.
I do get some poly strands in my sift now and then, although they do sift out with the first cleaning.
I have to wonder if the stainless is too harsh on the plant matter. They are 2 pretty different materials. I could see if there were some differences in the results.
Stainless seems like it would be nice for dry ice.
Just tossing this out for comments if anyone has any.
Thanks
