i have two smaller plants in the veg state that started growing a little sideways. i put some small metal rods in the soil to help the grow straight. after a day the leaves are turning brown. did i**** them up and what can i do to save them? i have also just transplanted them into separate pots b/c i didn't think they were growing fast enough, could that have caused the turning of the leaves?

(not so important ?) are the females usually bigger or smaller plants?

Well I would need more info to try and help you. Do you have a PH meter? That would be my 1st question...Anytime you transplany you will have some stress but not enuf to kill the leafs IMO. Give us more details..

We need more info for your 1st Q.
Answer to 2nd Q: when comparing 2 plants of the same strain and all other factors indentical, males are usually taller than females.
