Hello guys, new to this site but not a new grower. Asked this Q on another forum to no avail so here I am lets try not to argue we're all here to share knowledge and learn.

Working w/ 3m x 3m x 2m tent + 6x 600w light FOR FINISHING OFF PLANTS.

Aiming for (VEG)
Temps: 27°C-30°C RH: 65%-85% no carbon filter till flower due to high RH

Extraction: 1080m3/hr Intake: 800m3/hr

*higher temp+RH--->mimic tropics+VPD*

PLAN

•Intake: 6" RVK Inline Extraction fan CDR2E-150 (800m3/hr) w/ 1m duct + black leggings/tights as bug shield

Room w/co2 bags>duct>fan>tent

•Exhaust: 8" RVK fan CDR2E-200 (1050m3/hr) w/ 200x600 Fox filter

Tent>filter>fan>3m duct>house vent

•Humidifier+Dehumidifier (size?)

•3x Oscillating fans=2 canopy+1 floor (size?)

•Looking round for a night/day fan controller and controller for dehumidifier/humidifier any suggestions? Was looking at Inkbird

Q's: Anyone used this fan+filter combo?Most efficient way to control humidity? Most efficient way to run humidifier/dehumidifier (positioning, timing etc)? Is dehumidifier out of tent then connected via duct? Do you need a filter during veg? Has anyone had exp w/ inkbird controllers? Thank you in advance

A fan on your intake when you already have one, especially a bigger better one, on your exhaust, is at best unnecessary, and at worst, will actually reduce your flow. Intake should simply be allowed to flow freely from the negative pressure drawn by the exhaust fan.

I had an inkbird temp controller once (used it for a sous vide, not in the grow room, so it only got plugged in intermittently) and it lasted about 6 months before it went out of calibration and ruined a ribeye. One bad experience does not make a valid sample size, but they're kinda low end. Take the $$$ you were going to spend on the intake fan and buy yourself a better quality controller for peace of mind. One ribeye is less of a loss than a roomful of dank ; )
