first fully outdoor grow!

hey guys
this is my first fully out door grow, ie not in a glass house,
i planted 10 plants of 5 different strains,
the plants where about 6weeks old before i planted them outside,
i found a great spot for them,
they get full sun most of the day and they seem to just love it!
there growing at a very fast rate,
im feeding them bio bizz organic nutes.
this is going to be my first organic grow too!
i have to water them about twice a week,
the strains i have out there are,
kc 36
nirvana, bubblishious
nirvana, ak-48
" " big bud
" " big bud x northenlights,

these strains have a short flowering time of about 8-10weeks
which i will need as the weather gets bad in around oct.
here is a few shots of them

the first 2 pics are of there first week outside,
the next 3 are of them in the last week or so,
and in the rest you can see the damage done by green fly and other bugs, it looks like they blew holes in my leaves with a shotgun! dam!

Hello Swift

I get the same damage sometimes with insects, not a great deal you can do about it growing outside.

How old are they now?

I think your 2nd picture is great, it looks like you have planted them in the side of a hill

hey hippy,
yea i have learned to except there will be some damage from pests when growing outside, but if left unchecked thry would munch there way through the lot!
there about 9weeks old now,
there all fems, as i sexed some cuttings from them before i put them outside,
yea there on the side of a river bank and there is a 12foot drop off the side!but the plants are well away from the edge,
it was compleatly over grown with brambles,
but its nice and clear now and the soil is quite good with great drainage,
i planted them in 4gal growbags and slached the bottoms of the bags as i planted them so the roots can grow into the soil if they want!
im hoping the untoped plants get over 6 foot anyway, maybe higher!
just hope they finish before the bad weather starts!

Lookin great Swift... I don't know where you find the time to manage all of your grows...but they all look great... I need to check on my outdoor kids this weekend..see if they are there or if they got eaten or found....

just have to keep fighting off the dam bugs!

so there comming on well,
just like i said i have to battle the dam bugs,
the kc 36's i have out there are the most resistant by far, most of them have no damage at all, while the ak 48 is a magnet for them,
the kc 36's are also the quickest growers with the bubblish in second,
the bubblishious grow very bushy nice side growth,
while the kc likes to grow tall and like a christmas tree,
im going to top all but 1 and see how high it gets out there!
its going to be intresting to see,
ill be going out soon to inspect and manybe water them so ill take some new pics soon.

ok so i went to visit my babys early yesterday morning and i will have to get out to water them this morning but im quite tired, and lazy!
they will need to be watered sopn though,
since i visited them last they have jumped on height growing maybe 3"in a few days,
im loving this outdoor grow, i hope the weather stays good this summer, so i can harvest some great weed mould free!

and comming on really well,
i have a hook up for some commercial Botrytis treatment,
which is safe for use on food crops,
this stuff is pritty expensive, 10,000us$ for 20lbs of it,
crazy.

Hi There!

If I may offer a suggestion...


I use 4 cloves of garlic slice them real thin put it in a small pot of water (enough for a spray bottle) boil it good, put it in the spray bottle and spray top and bottom of leaves 1x per week, and I never have any problem with bugs!!! The harvested weed does not taste like garlic either!! I swear by it!!!!
