First Timer, am i doing it right

Hiya everyone, ok some background, first time grower and I’m not sure if I’m doing it all correct. I’ve built a 250 watt NFT hydroponics system and growing White Widow. They seem to be growing but not very high, just bushy!! All the pictures I’ve seen are of taller plants…… Mine have been on the NFT system now for a few weeks.

Have a look at the pictures; you will get an idea of the scale with my hand. There appears to be smaller leaves growing under the bigger leaves.

So a couple of questions:

• Are the plants growing correctly?
• If I’m not any ideas on what to do?
• How long do I let them grow before forcing flowering?

NICE lookin plants man.
Just a couple of quick questions.
1. how far is your light above the plants? Is it an HPS or MH light?
2. Whats the temp of your grow area?

Look for alternating nodes. About 4-6 weeks of Veg. they should appear. Then switch to 12/12.

If you not sure what alternating nodes are check the "sex" ed" sticky at the top of the "Indoor growing section".

K the plants are about 1.5 feet from the light, its HPS
the temp is about 32 deg

Mine looked simular, they are growing nicely.

you can get your 250W light closer than that. 8"-10" would be fine. I keep my 250W HPS bout 8" away.
Again beautiful plants. can't wait to see them crystal covered buds.
