Hey guys, just a quick question,

we took three alternating mature branches from our three orange bud plants, and placed them in cups of water under 12/12 lighting..

They've been like this for about 4 to 5 days now, and one of them has developed a rather healthy looking "cloud" of roots around the stem in the cup.. the other two arnt doing so well but thats not my question..

I was wondering how long it will take before we start to see signs of sex. I figured it would be 2 to 3 days, but its been 4 to 5 and still no sign.. it even seems the clippings are developing small branches?!

cheers for any help anyone can offer lol

It can take from 7 to 14 days before you see any signs of sex. ;)

thanks tbg! by the way, what is the fuzz around the end of the stem in the glass of water? it almost looks like a jelly, but at the same time it could be hundreds of tiny roots?!

not sure but you want to change the water every 3 days or so. Could be algee (sp?)
