forming of buds

i have been growing for 6 months now. be mj is coming out very well i would say. when i harvest my buds are nice and hard. when i hang dry and when dry they are fluffy and not hard. how do i come to making my buds hard and look great. i would really like to know how to hardin my buds. thanks a bunch

What HID's are you using? Some strains are just like that, too...what's your growing specs? i.e. light and strain would be cool...Also if a room is too warm that can make buds airier aka "fluffier" or if a lamp has gone bad buds will "run" so to speak...

i have 600 watt hps. strain unknown but is some really kill. was on my third grow this grow is fluffier than last. thanks for the relpy

if the room is cooler it tends to make the dense. tighter????????????????????
