Hi everyone.. I am at about 5 weeks into veg with 2 plants.. They are in a FF ocean forest soil.. under 8 clfs with reflectors 35 watt 6500k. The plants are really healthy looking.. I have put them into # 5 pots from Hd in reality they are 3.7 gallons pots and I plan on transplating them one more time. possibly into 10 gallon plastic pots.. My question is I have been using a fairly inexspensive ferltizer mix called Jacks classic all purpose 20-20-20 and I called my local hydro store and they can get me by the next day the fox forest open semseme which they say to start in the 5 or 6 week of veg growth and then go on to beastie bloomz.. I read something about it that didnt sound good that it was strong or something and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the fox farms nutes. I know they sell a 3 part pack of with something else called chi ching or something. Thanks Hero

Those are for budding, you want vegging? If wanting the FF, get the trio and the supplements for budding

Yeah get the trio, Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom. Those are your three basics that you need and probably all you will want. The nutrients you mentioned are all extra additives on top of the Fox Farm trio. I dont understand why they would try to sell you that stuff IMO.

The products you are talking about are Fox Farms Solubles. They are stronger but that just means you use less. Another member here that I know is using them and having pretty good success. He started because the grow shops around here are pretty them up on. I'm using the liquid trio for the first time and so far so good. I would start with the Liquids, more room for error IMO but they both do the same thing. . .

Yep I am sold.. ( Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom) I will tell them to order em ASAP.. Thanks PS these arnt just for HYDRO grows right? I was in my local hydro store and they had a rack of nutes but the man told me those were for hydro grows one of them was something called Bud candy or something.. Thanks Hero

A look at the schedule tells me the solubles are for budding only, they are supplements to the trio! And no problem, my friend, I think you post fine!!!

Interesting, my feeding schedule doesn't specify but does seem to imply what you are saying.

They are not, however, being marketed that way by the grow shops local to me. Or apparently, local to the op. . .

Be doubtful of what you are told at shops, some of these guys pretend they are grow specialists when they couldn't grow a yard full of dandelions. Make sure they know what they are talking about before putting money in their word alone!!

Yup, pretty much. . . especially around here where everybody and their brother is trying to cash in on the mmj however they can. Before a couple years ago their wasn't enough business for one dedicated indoor growing shop. Now there are 3 in my town and >10 within 30 miles. . .

Well this is an old man like 80 he is there when the hydro ppl are not selling orchids... and running the store I don't tell anyone I am growing MJ I am not in a MMJ state,, Thanks everyone
