Grow Room TEMPS

should i raise my light from the tops of the plants , becuase of the high temp it can get in my grow room ... its about 17 -18 away

I think I read somewhere you have a 400w. You should have any medium watt system anywhere from 12" to 36". Try somewhere in the middle of this and put your hand over the tops of your plants. If your hand gets hot it's too close. Good luck!

its like 24 inches from the tallest plant so like , 24-26 inches, its mainly the exhaust part of my grow room ive just been leaving the doors crakce d open with , my 2 windows in the room cracked to lower the temps , but i cant do this all the time , and i cant cut holes in the doors becuase i live in an apartment , any suggestions
