Two of my plants have sprouted with the seed casing still partially attached. Is this OK? I planted them about 1/4 inch deep. I figure I can either leave them to shed the seed casing naturally or remove the seed casing so it does not inhibit the finger leaves from opening:confused: ...What should I do?

Well, Nature has been doin this kinda thing for Centuries. Let it drop itself. Pulling may damage it. IMHO.

I find that sometimes this can kill your plant... unless you keep the humidity high. So keep some plastic or a dome over your seedlings until that casing is off, because if it dries and hardens, it might not come off by itself.
