Wassup. I literally started growing like 5 days ago and i know nothing about this stuff other than what i picked up going back and forth from google and youtube. I have no clue what kinda seed this is i found it in a 8th i copped and said lemme do sum wit this. So here i am. I got this little box set up with 2 small bulbs i got from some lamps and a larger ecosmart light (details on the ecolight included in picture) i found in the closet. The ecolight was the main light before i made this box set up. The water is tap water that i boiled and what not to make it distilled. I dont know anything about ph and stuff. The soil is miracle gro moisture control, its been working so far but i do plan on changing to a roots organic coco mix or fox farm idk yet. Earlier i came home to this thing flopped over from dehydration i think cause when I watered it and changed the lighting around it popped back up. For the ventilation i dont know what im doing but i do have this huge fan to keep the lights cooled mostly and i got my heater on fan mode to somehow work as an exhaust. So yeah that’s basically my set up. PLEASE let me know what i can do to get the most out of what im working with currently or anything that is cheap and easy as can because im on a budget and i wanna stay lowkey. I really need help cause i dont want to have to get a new seed without at least getting somewhere with this situation. Im a hands on learner for the most part so thats why im so terrible at this

You have some work to do my friend. I would start off by visiting this thread..... Beginners Growing Forum. You can find it in the Forums. Frankly, all who want to start growing should do extensive research before starting. There is a lot to learn and plan before you actually start growing.
I am sure you are gonna get help here but do yourself a favor and learn a bit first...other wise you will be reacting to problems rather than growing good marijuana.

And i don't want to burst your bubble but growing good dank weed is not cheap,,but its damn sure cheaper and better then buying it. You will do fine,,just do a little reading first.

We are all here to teach and to learn.if your serious about learning then you have come to the right place.As putembk has said studying is the key, knowledge, understanding and then application.i would start by just rocking one of them cfl bulbs for that little one for now.a couple small clip on fans for the box,one for intake air at bottom and one for exhaust at top,just cut em in and seal them the best you can I'd use a lil filtration pad of some sort on the intake .I've always wanted to build a micro grow,I may just do that soon.well hit me up anytime, I'm currently running a couple grow journals on here, follow along maybe we can learn some from each other.peace

As a baby, it doesn't need much just keep the environment temp humidity moderate, and the soil moist. That LED is not even a grow light, use the cfl's for now and read some basics. You either need a good LED especially made for flowering or HPS. But you can get by for weeks now with just the cfls so good luck 
HOT5s will also grow weed from start to finish. Ive done it and got a pretty good harvest. Just have to change the tubes from 6500k in vegg to 2700k in flower and keep them close to the canopy. I used a 4ft 8tube system that put out 40,000 lumens and grew 2 big plants under them.

yep , a long time ago I finished a dozen plants under nothing but 42 w cfl,’s and it was pretty good , at least better than buying it

Yeah i actually liked the High Output T5s. They spread the light good,,you can drop them down 2 to 4" from the canopy and heat is not a big problem like it can be with HPS. I think its a great way for beginners to learn to grow without all the heat problems and they are fairly cheap to run.
