Help with fan placement

I know I should know this, but we are installing our first inline 6" fan.

In my bathtub room we have a filter first then two aircooled lightes then the bathroom fan.(the biggest we could buy) That are all ducted together. This works in all but the hottest days of summer. So, where does the fan go? In the ceiling to pull the hot air up in the attic? Or, on the filter to push thru the filter first?

I think you have the filter in wrong place????..as for your new 6in fan....is it a vortex or a real inline fan?...either way...it goes in the ceiling extracting to attic..and if ya can hook it to a heat sensor...I run these in the shed and work great..a bit pricey at first b ut my fan dont need to be on all the time so paid for self...be carefull cutting n ceiling as the insolation will fall in you eyes

I pull mine through a carbon filter and 2 lights then to outside of the tent. This is where my fan is located, then a short duct to the window and outside.
