How do solar panel LED grow lights work?

I'm just curious because would you be able to put them on a timer like 18/6 on or 12/12 because a lot of plants are photo-period

LED systems just aren't worth the expense at this point in the technology, IMHO.

Always HPS or flouro's...that's all the advice I can give.... Great Gatsby's Ghost, already! LED's prob work great for hortic
utlural seedling studies in space, but in PRACTICAL gravity-well based horticulture, hps for bloom and flouro for vegging.
