how long can you grow?

Hiya, i'm a newbi....

how long can you keep growing a plant, the reason i ask is i'm growing 4 plants and 1 is producing alternating nodes but i'm still waiting for the others.

Is there a problem in just letting them grow and grow till you're ready?

you can veg them as long as you wanna providing you have the space, tempeture condions,
