Before we begin, please note that cannabis is illegal in many parts of the world, and it is important to follow the laws and regulations in your area. Additionally, the following recipe is intended for those who are of legal age and have a medical marijuana prescription.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fruit juice (any flavor)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 teaspoon citric acid
  • 1/4 teaspoon flavor extract (optional)
  • 1 gram of decarboxylated cannabis concentrate or oil
  • Gummy molds
  • Cooking spray
Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the fruit juice, honey, and citric acid. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it is fully combined.
  2. Add the cannabis concentrate or oil to the saucepan and stir until it is fully incorporated into the mixture.
  3. Slowly add the unflavored gelatin to the mixture, stirring constantly until it is fully dissolved.
  4. If using a flavor extract, add it to the mixture and stir until fully combined.
  5. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  6. While the mixture is still warm, carefully pour it into the gummy molds. If needed, lightly spray the molds with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  7. Place the molds in the refrigerator and let them set for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Once the gummies are set, remove them from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Remember to always start with a small amount of cannabis when trying edibles, as they can be much more potent than smoking or vaping. Enjoy responsibly!

Is there any recommendation for the type of concentrate? kief or using ethanol extract are possible for me to do. Is it better to infuse it with some type of oil?
When it comes to choosing a concentrate for infusion, both kief and ethanol extract can be viable options. Kief is essentially the resinous trichomes collected from cannabis flowers, while ethanol extract is a concentrated form of cannabis obtained through the extraction process.

Infusing concentrates with oil is a popular method as it allows for easier integration into various recipes. The choice of oil depends on your preference and the desired end result. Common options include coconut oil, olive oil, or even specific oils like MCT oil, which is known for its ability to enhance cannabinoid absorption.

Consider factors such as flavor, potency, and the intended use of the infused product when making your decision. Experimentation is key to finding the combination that suits your preferences best. Remember to follow safety guidelines and proper dosage recommendations to ensure a positive and controlled experience.
