inline ozonator's?

Hey Y'all,
anyone ever use an inline ozonator for odor control? With the cost of charcoal filters and having to replace once a year or so wouldn't a one time cost of $350ish for the ozonator payoff in a year or two?
Do they work.A little research and it seems the bulb style ozonator is a little better/cheaper than the corona style ozonator

A friend of mine said that he uses an ozonator but has found that it makes hid throat sore if he uses it too much as his grow is in his bedroom and the ozone gets pretty harsh to breath.

I prefer to just get charcoal from the petstore and make my own filters which work for quite a while.
