If the one is so into school she cant afford 50 a week, then she wont have time to drive anyways. if she does, the one that can afford to drive can haul her around. They are only 16, teach them to work and go to school. When my daughter turned 16, she didnt have a job and couldnt afford to drive. She had to wait till she was 17 and working so she could pay her own way. I gave her a $200 car and she paid the difference my insurance went up. Thats the only way I could do it because I aint made of $$$$$.
Now she is in college, works, and has a new car allmost paid for. Her job doesnt pay much(part time), but living with your parents realy helps out.
