I have heard that turning off lights a few days prior to harvest will increase yield. Does anybody here know it this works?

Thanks

Its supposed to mature them faster ie force the cloudy trichs to amber....doesnt add weight.

No, it doesn't work--it doesn't do anything--doesn't add weight, doesn't cause them to mature faster. They do lose a few days that they could be growing and maturing though. There is no scientific reason that it should really be beneficial in any way. There is really no way to make anything do anything faster on a flowering plant.

Thanks THG & Lesso, for clearing that up for me.

Sure thing.

Ive done it, life got in the way of a harvest and i cut down 2 and had to leave 2 for almost 3 full days, so i left the light off for the hell of it. There was absolutely no difference in the plants, as i suspected.
