isnt the point of these forums to have questions answered by other growers?
Yes, it is wikkedsun. However, we do expect you to at least try to find the answers to some of the common questions yourself.
The questions you asked involved very, very, very, long, long, long answers.
Take for example:
"nutrient info from start to finish would be great"
Man, that simple question covers about a thousand pages of material.
Soil growing using different techniques of which there are probably 20 of them, all call for different nutrients at different times. Hydroponic information, (my specialty), has several dozen different methods used for each technique and will vary by the strain, type of hydro, size of plant, etc. etc. etc. I could tell you thousands of variations to hydroponic nutrient usage that would fill hundreds of pages.
Asking us to type "start to finish" about nutrients is a staggering request. I guess you didn't know that, because you wouldn't have asked in that manner had you understood this.

"how many plants should go under a 1000 watt"
This question has many answers as well. It depends on the size of the room, how large you intend to grow your plants, what type of ventilation you're using, if any, and how much head room you have available to use.
Again, it simply isn't reasonable for you to expect any of us to type out all the hundreds of possibilities that exist. We directed you to a FAQ page so that you would learn the basics and narrow down your questions to something that is fair to the people who would be answering you. Any grow book you can buy discusses all of your questions in detail. Each of your questions, and the variations to the answers have been discussed at length on this site and can be found with simple searches.

We are a family here. A close family of users that have, for some, been here for some time and have answered every question you've asked many times. We now have almost 4,000 members here, and if each member asked the same beginners questions like "what size pot should I use", without even looking for the answer first, we'd never get anything done.
We ask ALL the members to buy at least one grow manual and read it BEFORE asking questions.
If you look at the large majority of the questions asked, there are variables about that particular grow that are NOT covered in either the FAQS or in grow manuals to the extent that the information is needed.

If you are looking for a group that will lead you by the hand and teach you every single thing you need to know about growing marijuana, you're in the wrong place. This site is for discussion of growing, not teaching growing. You need to learn the basics of how to grow from the easy sources that are available out there, or just read some of the 60,000 posts that have already been made on the site.
If there are things that you still don't understand about what you've read in your grow manual or online growers guides that are, as you say, all over the net, then all of the growers here would be more than glad to help you understand what you have read or learned.
Please understand that we aren't trying to be rude to you, and that this same problem that you're now having has come up here dozens of times. We have four Mods here, and as one, I can tell you that I spend a minimum of two hours a day, seven days a week, answering questions here that are posted by those who have already tried to find the answer in one way or another and simply haven't found the right answer.
No one on this site wishes you any problems or is trying to be rude to you. After you've been here for awhile, you'll see the flow of the posts and have a better understanding of how this site works.
Good luck to you man, and I'm sorry that we've gotten off on a bad note. I hope you'll stick around and enjoy the site. It sounds like maybe you've had a lot of outside growing experience that would benefit our members and perhaps the confusion is that you're just now trying to learn how to grow inside.
Being specific with your questions will also help.
Thanks man, and again, welcome to the group.
Stoney Bud.
