if i take some fish from the grocery store.. grind it up and mix it with dirt.. will i have some good natural nutes?

Yes but do it before you grow like
I month before and i would add eggs
butter milk and frutes to it i do and it
works kind good Peace

And the reason to do it a month before is becuse
animals will ripp up the dirt lookin for the meat eggs
and other stuff and will **** up your plant so be carefull

Will all due respect kindbud, that's nuts.

Dairy products/eggs don't do much for mj (maybe add a little calcium) and harm it more than help it.
Fish especially has to be fully composted, more than a month in dirt.
And adding fruit won't help much.
Far Far better is just buy a sack of chicken sh!t, mix it with water and use that. As you can imagine chicken shit is cheap, cheaper than fish/fruit/dairy, and it contains the correct ration of N-P-K for vegatative growth.
Or spend 5 bux and buy some Scott's or Peter's that will last you all year.

Regular cheap-o store-bought potting soil is superior to "dirt" i.e. something dug up from a back yard.
Organic potting soil is even better.
And organic potting soil with added organic nutrients is the best.
All 3 usually contain perlite, which keeps the potting soil from compacting (roots need oxygen).
Another advantage to using store-bought potting soil is regular backyard soil is usually full of bugs and often weed seeds (not the good kind of weed :) ).
