New here, how to use multiple CFL or LED for SOG

Imagine an 8 plant or more SOG

i have access to all the CFLs and LEDs I need. My goal is to push yields as best they can with CFL or LED

Say I get a bunch of 6500k LEDs and put enough to like the canopy for veg

Then use 2700k for flower

I just don't understand the barebones of light needs and lighting.

A lot of times CFLs and LEDs will not be compatible. CFLs have to be really close to the plants to be effective at all and LEDs generally need to be a foot or 2 from the canopy. I really don't know anyone that uses CFLs anymore as they are so inefficient. Tell us more about the LEDs you have.

I have access to 5w-20w bulbs that can be either 6500k to 2700k

I don't have any meters for reading ppfd or ppf or par

Led does seem to be alot better than CFL so I'll be using led for sure.
