I have a 4ft plant growing healthy outside with just molasses & seaweed emulsion as nutrients. I was thinking of using some nutes before she starts flowering. I am on a very thin budget and I found some Orchard food sitting around the house. I was thinking about using it but I am new to using nutes and I don't want to harm her. Can someone tell me if this product is suitable for my plant's consumption?

Schultz Orchid Food 19-31-17 10 oz jar

19- nitrogen
31- Phosphate
17- soluble potash

Contains 19% Nitrogen (4.2% Ammoniacal; 1.4% Nitrate; 13.4% Urea); 31% Phosphate; 17% Soluble Potash; 0.02% Boron; 0.07% Copper; 0.33% Iron; 0.05% Manganese; 0.0005% Molybdenum; and 0.07% Zinc.

Thanks in advance

That sounds a bit strong for my liking.........

Are you growing in the ground, if so did you prepare it?

Or in pots pots, if so what size?

5 gallon pots. I usually water then every 3 days with a gallon of water.

I also used pure bought potting soil. Don't remember what brand.

Ok

So 5gls/20ltrs pots

Did the soil have any added nutes?

I like to use this

2 6 3.5

You could start off real weak with your nutes 1/4 or 1/8 strength and see if your plants like it, just go steady so that you don't burn them.
It is a lot easier to add more nutes than it is to take them away
