fugly said:i believe your 2nd is wrong.....c02 is used for welding. it is mostly used for mig welding and used as a shielding gas. there are also other blends of welding gas such as c02/argon in different percentages and pure argon which is used primarily for tig welding.

I dont quite understand the whole liguid/gas filled thing though, surely co2 in a bottle is liquid always? then gas once released?
