Have had two plants go totally crisp/dried out from top to bottom. Been about 2-3 months in veg. Using dirt mix, Flora Grow, been watering every other day, lights not too close, vented with blower. Seems like one day the leaves look ok, then a day or so later the whole plant is crispy/dead. I am allways nervous about overwatering... Thanks

check your root ball. What do the roots look like? is their molds growing in the soil? Any little bugs?

I would guess that is your problem. watering every other day is too much unless they are in tiny pots. What size pots?

If it goes limp first overwatering could be your problem, normaly yellowing from the bottom up.

If it starts at the tips and burns the edges, leaves get that claw look could be nute burn.

Been using the large 2 lb. coffee cans as pots, holes in the bottom, etc.
I am guessing that I am overwatering, probably always have. Roots look OK nothing out of the ordinary.
THANKS FOR YOUR KIND RESPONSES!!

Pots designed for growing plants are cheap. I get mine free. I would never plant weed in a metal pot. If they are plastic it would be okay tho. Sorry about your misfortune -- don't give up...
