Planting soil

I'm planning on growing outdoors next season and I'm going to use planting soil. I was wondering what kind of soil would be the best for the nutrients the plant needs and for saturation. I'm going to use Polymer Crystals (Water Crystals) to retain water, but if I can get soil that will retain water for a long amount of time too, it will help. I want to be up there watering them the least as possible for obvious reasons.

FBJ, "IMHO"...Fox farms Ocean Forest or Black Gold brands are about the best you can find.

Alright thanks. I'm already using a black gold brand to grow my clones in. Next year should be fun!!!
