Please explain what topping is

Topping a plant means to cut off the new growth on the top of the plant. It promotes bushy growth by causing the plant to grow more from the lower nodes of the plant. Node is a place on a stem or stalk where a leaf or stem grows.

Topping should only be done when the plant is vegging, not flowering. If done in flowering, you'll be cutting off already detemined bud sites.

Agreed.
When I pinch, I leave just a reminder.
I pinch almost 90% of the sprout!

Thank you all for your comments. Im doing my second grow right now ( first indoor) and was hopeing to get more of a yield. So what week would you recomend to begin topping and does anybody have better results on clipping the top less then 90 percent?
