Pollination - How long does it take?

Just flipped to 12-12 a week ago, and I think I may have a male.
How much time do I have, from me noticing male pollen sacs to when they open?
How long til they burst?

why wait? I've purposely pollinated plants, and everytime I only had a small amount of pollen, and didnt think I had
done it well. Those WW buds were full of all kinds of seeds. Seems a little goes a long way! If the sacks are closed I would remove them carefully.

They'll pop in the blink of an eye. If you're going to pull them, get a squirt bottle of water and wet 'em down. It's a safety net incase they pop while you're pulling them.

Thing is, I'm assuming its a male.
I'm not entirely sure. I've never done this before.
I thought of waiting another day, but some of them have that seed look to them. That kinda 1/2 cracked look.
And they're small. Just showing.
I'm probably just moving too fast and being paranoid.

I thought it had pods not open yet? I see, you are just wondering how long you have after seeing the male junk. Well, hope you get a female out of it. Just keep an eye out for balls, and do as Hippie420 says.

Of the two pics, the first maybe, hard to tell. The second one looks roundish, usually the male pods are slightly elongated.
