Hello All,
I'm growing several seedlings at this time. I used the mg seedling starter mix and a bit of perlite.
Although, the soil is able to easily absorb the water it does not seem to keep much moisture?
Common sense tells me that I should have been watering more frequently especially because of the perlite/soil mix and because it was rather warm here in Arizona last week.
I didn't want to over-water, but now it seems like if i add a fair amount of perlite to the soil, then i have to water much more frequent, possibly every other day?
However, if i use less perlite, then the soil should maintain its moisture longer and I don't have to water as much. Does this sound right?
My plants are not looking that well. I may have to start over due to under-watering. I'm trying to see if they can survive.
Once gain, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
