I really doubt it, but maybe. I believe that you are going to want a lot larger intake than 4"--there is such a thing as too much negative pressure.

If it doesn't work, you are going to need air cooled hoods.

My friend you can cool that area to its ambient temp. with a 340 cfm fan, if you vent out of the room. Pull in fresh air from a low point, and pull it from the high part of the room directly across so that the air moves across the lights. Keep a fan blowing under each bulb, but above the canopy. The 340 cfm fan will move as much hot air from that room that the 2 600 hps will create, if you vent out of the room. In the winter I use my aircooled hood as an open hood to create heat in the cold room. I have a homemade thermostat/relay combo that i use to regulate the temps. The light creates the heat for the room then I just plug my fan up to my relay unit that turns on the fan when it gets to 78 degrees or so. Works great!

I run 4 600s without a cooling system other than my 8 inch out-flow and the 4" x 10" floor furnace slot, I just suck the air from under the house through the old central air duct. During the summer months I have to do my lights on at night is all. It stays about 79degrees. my rooms 10x 12, 7 foot highst

I am running 2 600W with a lot larger fan in a smaller space and I cannot keep my space cool without air cooled hoods. I really doubt that he is going to be able to either.

I un-duct 2, 1k's in the winter to utilize the heat. In the warmer months a 440cfm fan will easily cool both lights in magnum hoods.

Air-cooled hoods are the way to go IMO, It's cold where I'm at and with that cold air coming in and with air-cooled lamps my temps are 75-80 at times while running at night. I tell ya don't try and risk it, heat build up sucks and when your gone at work you come home to your babies on the verge of death.

the onlyway tat will stay cool enough is if you leave the tent open
during lights on. otherwise you'll ccok em fo sure.

My big blower fan when the rooms empty actually lifts the plastic tarps off the floor a little, it's huge, it's replacing the air in my room every minute or so, the suction near the inlet slot from under the house feels like a fan blowing. To keep most of the bugs out I use a real fine mesh bag, that I believe was intended to wash ladies langerie in, when I remove the vent it blows like a flag!! All that air moving and I still get PM issues, anyway this is what works for me, with the cooler weather i'm hitting about 74 in the room tonight, Been whackin a couple plants a day, rooms lookin a little empty, but i got more comeing. couple pics of bud porn too!!! Previewed the pics, time to mop the floors!!! I realize that owning my own home has huge advantages, for the setup I've got, I evict a tennant for it, lol,, oh ya I have a huge home-made charcoal can this blows through in the attic. I plan on changing the charcoal next grow and will do a DIY on stink prevention.
