Question about calyx

I'm growing a few plants outside but am worried they are not gonna swell as normal.

I could probably let them go a week or so more but the trics are getting close.
My question is will they be ready before I see more swelling of the calyx?

Right now the white hairs seem long and I am used to seeing the calyx swell up and make the hairs seem shorter. (Does this make sense lol?)

They were in organic dirt and fed relatively lightly so it could just be a crappy yield?

Any thoughts or opinions?
