Question about lights and clones

I have 6 clones under a Quantam Badboy lighting system. It is a 4' 8bulb light. How far away should the light be from my clones?

Are they rooted yet? Unrooted clones need very little light.

I used soil to clone them, so I am not sure. There is new growth starting on them so I assume they are rooted.

How long since ya took th cuttings?...Sounds like ya have done it correct..I use floors for my cloneing area and the light sits above the Dome...

It has been about 3 weeks but the first two and a half weeks I had them under a couple 2' cheep walmart fluorescent lights. Then I picked up the t5 setup, and a heat mat.

If your at 3 weeks and showing new growth then you are rooted. You can keep the t5 at 4 to 6 inches or less from your plants now.
