Just dumpster dived and came home with 3 eight ft vinyl post perfect for my 36 plant aero-type system. should be starting this build next weekend if possible. I will include pictures as I go.

make sure the plastic is food grade. if it's not it would have lead bpa and plasticizers that leach in hydro solutions and to the plants

I think that you are going to find that the vinyl posts are simply not large enough to contain the root systems that cannabis grows. I know that they sell commercial outfits, but I found that they simply do not have enough room in real use. Check out the root systems of some peoples DWC grows and you can see what I mean--one plant can grow enough roots to fill a 5 gal bucket. Any misters will get clogged. Even a nutrient film type system with fence posts can and does get clogged shut with root growth.
