Sexing

I have a dozen plants that I have just started from regular seeds and are about 9" tall (just getting started). They are outdoors in dirt. Is there a way when they get a little bigger to sex them. We have a limited plant count here (4-6) and I do not want to go thru all the work vegging them and wait until the 2nd week of August (when they show sex around here) to cull the males. Thanks

Cover them up to make 12 - 12 hrs on sun
Maybe a k garbage can over during final few hrs of sun until they show sex

I let them go untill they show sex or i decide to flip them by covering them.

Take cuttings for clones, root them under 12/12 lighting
In a couple weeks they will show
