I'm not sure if it's helping but i use diapers to suck up after watering 5 gal pots.

Well with my micro I really didn't have much problems the whole way through, so I think I will be able to make the small pots work. Watering alot won't be to big a deal since it will be organic. It will usually just be plain water and molasses with the occasional guano. I appreciated all the help. I have 10 plants in veg for my next project. 1 in the 1 gallon smart pot 2 in the homemade ones and the rest in conventional pots. After this run I'll decide whether or not to commit to them

Smart pots and coco are the new 'hydro' set ups these days here in CO. Very easy and it works great. I still use plastic because its a little cheaper and the results are the same for me
