Smell changing when drying and curing.

Everytime i grow and dry and cure my weed smells greeny like outdoor weed.am i doing something wrong?
The weed will smell really good before harvest then i hang for a week then in jars for few weeks opening and shaking jar daily to get fresh air in . But smells like outdoor all time. Loses its original scent before harvest

When I harvest it smells like cut grass or something like that. When it cures that smell goes away.
Drying creates some terpene loss I understand.

Leafy buds will sometimes smell green.

New technology with vape oil production does not dry the buds after harvest.. The buds are flash frozen after harvest and processed cold to keep more flavor in the oil.
This oil is called "live resin".

Don't worry about it too much. Some strains have some weird smells.
