Welcome to MP. IMO as long as there is enough leaves left on the bottom half of your plant it should have no problem in making a recovery.

yes it will. i live in ireland n had 1 that broke n half n still flowerd, that was in winter time

the old man broke one plant but it still had a bit of the stock in tack, so out came the duct tape and lo and behold she kept growing.

Yeah if it's still attached try air layering it. This would be a great opportunity.
