soil question(not which is better A or B)

I have abt half a bag of FFoF. its been sitting in my closet for a good 8-9months. my questions are, Can i still use that soil? Does it go bad? thanks.

oh one more thing, anyone use Happy Frog? thinking abt picking up a bag and mixing it with FFoF. what would you recommend the mix ratio to be? ok, thats it. Thanks again.

I think its fine to use as long as it looks good(no mold ect.) I use 75% FFOF 25% Happy frog to lighten it up a bit. 1 cup of lime in 5 gallon pots for PH. I also add a little layer of perlite near the bottom. Thats just my opinion though. I'm sure you will get others.
