Hey all, i just recently flipped over to 12/12 4 days ago. Is it still safe to take clones from my girls? I only want to take 1 clone off each plant. Does anyone think this is a good idea or just leave it alone? Any input would be great EDIT

go ahead, but I would take more than one clone. If you have 10 plants and take one clone from each plant and still manage an 80% success rate, you are still going to lose out on the genetics from two plants. I like to take 3 clones from each plant but that is just my opinion.

I've done it many times they just seem to take a little longer to start growing again.

I second that. I took a clone from a nirvana ice female after determining sex and its taking much longer for the roots to show.

I have found the clones root faster if taken in the first few weeks of 12/12. With the added P in the plant already, it gives the cuttings a leg up with whats needed to throw new roots and not vegging growth.

Ive found that I prefer to take clones after in flower a couple weeks. when they do root, they turn into nice bushes. no training or pruning needed.
jmo.
good luck :)
