I had a nice lookin' female sensi plant looking good towards the end of last season, went back for the harvest and found to my dismay it had termites in the base of it, and was nearly dead. Anyone know of a preventive measure for this? I knew of a fells who used to put Diazanon around his and it worked, but I always wondered if some of that stuff would get into your smoke.

Hi Overgrown

Were where you growing - indoors, outdoors?
How much water where you feeding it?
How often where you feeding it?

hi OG, welcome to the forum..

Are you certain they were termites?..and not ants?
Some ants will farm aphids. Aphids **** the life right outta your plant.
Diatomaceous earth is a fantastic "non toxic" pest deterrant for any crawling earthborn bugs. http://www.ghorganics.com/DiatomaceousEarth.html
