We humans like to place blame of our supposed short coming on the things out side our selves.

We like to blame.

We hear others complain of these things in their lives and the results they have received from their choices and actions and we say to our selves, this must be so because he had this experience and I read about this other person who had the same thing happen to them and because of this thing they have decided to do also. So this is what we must expect. That is what we are taught from a very early age.
We have these voices in our head; they are the voices of our parents, teacher’s coaches, mentors, friends, doctors, specialists and so on and so forth. These voices are sharing with you their beliefs on everything out there in this scary world. They want you to be safe and prepared for anything.

Here’s the problem with this as I see it;

We are born; we come forth into this physical world from nonphysical, to be physical. We come forth from divine nonphysical energy. It is truly amazing. So here we are now physical with the freshness of nonphysical still in our memory, but we can not speak the language of words as most around us who are caring for us do. But we can communicate, just not with articulate word phrases yet. So what happens to us as we enter this physical place of energy is we absorb the energy that surrounds us. Like a sponge. We sift and gather data. And most of this data is received from those who love us and they would never give us false information on purpose because they love us and want nothing but the best physical experience for us.
So they share with us their beliefs, beliefs they have learned in very much the same way as everyone else around them, from others. Where did it all begin? These beliefs? Why do we so easily except them as our own? I am not sure what happens, but it happens to most everyone that comes forth into physical, some claw and chew there way through the beliefs of others to form their own beliefs and when they do this, truly amazing things happen for them, yet others continue to share the beliefs of others and become bitter and angry because their life experience is not what they had intended for them selves.

To me the most important question to ask your self is… how do these beliefs make ME feel?

Our emotions have always been our guidance system; it is built in and never ever malfunctions.
Many of us are not aware of this gift. Many see their emotions as something that gets in the way of living life. This is not so. You emotions are how your divine non physical self stays in touch with your divine physical self. You are one in the same.

I have learned to ask myself when I am feeling bad “what is it that I believe that has me feeling so bad?” Asking this question directly helps me see very quickly what it is that has me so upset. It is always a false belief that gets me to feeling bad. Once you connect this everything starts to become more clear in you life and in your mind. No one out side of your self knows what’s best for you.

There is no right or wrong in this physical place we find our selves experiencing. There is not one thing in this place to feel bad for. There is nothing you can do to feel guilty about. You can’t get it wrong because there was nothing to get right in the first place.

Many people beat themselves up because they are not living the life those around them have expressed to them that they should be living or doing. This is a very sad life to live. It was not at all what any of us had intended for ourselves when we came forth into this physical place from nonphysical.

I wish I could easily articulate what I know to be as a truth for myself, but because of what I know and understand, I can not. Because each of us, as connected as we truly are, have to form our own beliefs and find our own divine inner self. We have to learn to unlearn some of what does not feel good to us.

And we have to allow our selves to be. To be what we had intended to be.
We have to learn to always give ourselves and our fellow man the benefit of doubt and always look for what is good in everything everywhere. For there is good in all that exists.

It is the laws created by man that has created criminals of man. Not the other way around.

This is a test………….please, don’t turn the dial….. This is only a test.

Thank you for your time, and please let me remind you of how very much you are loved all the time!

I couldn't read that entire post because it was... well nonsense.
We come forth from divine nonphysical energy
Prove it

Actually we come from a sperm and an egg that combine to share genetic material.

Close this thread its in direct violation of the rules.

No talking about religion or god.

Either that or you can leave it open and when I get home I will gladly tear it apart but I promise I won't be nice about it.

Yo Ho Ilikebigbuds,
We do need to follow the basic rules here. Too bad that we as humans still tend to get pulled into one thing or another, instead of using an age old addage that reads, "Come, let us reason together".
I love to talk with friends, and i would love to ****-chat more on this with you if you are interested, if you so desire, give me a yell.

smoke in peace

You're feeble attempt at a clever rant has put me to sleep.

It really was boring, and really didn't prove anything.

I myself believe in nothing but living life in the here and now. Life's too short to consume yourself in things we have no grasp on. Why hold onto "the unknown" when you could be sharing the best of your time with the ones you love and admire.

I lost my father to cancer this summmer (he was only 51) and if anything I learned that time is a precious thing, and to consume yourself in religion, poilitics, war, work or popular culture is really a losing battle.

I do not mean to offend anyone, but why waste to time praying to a God you don't know exists. And in this case, why look so deeply into the confines of our minds to try and find what is right or wrong. What to believe, what not to.

If there is one thing that everyone on this eath needs to believe in, it's ourselves.

So whatever, love thy neighbour, love thy bropther, but most of all, loves yourself, and do what makes you happy(And of course, what makes those around you happy.)

Nothing can hold you back when you're not holding back a thing.

I did not mention God,

and we are physical... are we not?

and we are some kind of energy? are we not?

did not intend to offend, but I am not sorry for how my words make you feel,
I have no control over how you receive what you read.

my intent was to remind all my friends that life is what you choose to believe it is. thats all.

I know you didn't mention anything about God, but that's the underlying message you send when you talk about beliefs and self worth is a "higher being" kind of argument.

You're really just running circles with yourself in this post.

You might as well have talked about The Ideologies of Man. Because this is what your whole argument stems from.

Think of it this way.

If a teacher hands you a book, you'll read it, take it for truth, and remember it. Coinsedently, you believe it.

Doesn't mean it's true. But you believed it.

Who was the first person to actually have beliefs of their own, and how did they pass them down. With words or wisdom, physical harm, or did they approach it in the "Cris Angel" way and use slight of hand or slight of mind.

Ilikebigbuds: Every single part of what you said is absolutely 100% true as far as beliefs, emotions and how we can deal.

I teach a class on this exact topic.

Mostly, people do not want to be proven wrong, because it is associated with defeat.

Being proven to be wrong should be celebrated as enlightenment.

But those darn feelings and emotions get in the way...

There is no such thing as anger.
Anger is a word used to describe MANY different emotions.

why does anyone want someone else to share their belief?

does it make them feel right, or wrong, or maybe.....justified?

I don't know. for each person I suppose it is different.

I do not believe in god, nor heaven or hell, or sinners and all that holy stuff.

I believe in free will. yours and mine.

thank you for the contrast. As always I appreciate it.

I would never think of anything or anyone as a "higher being"

I used the words "inner being" to me there is a difference.

Peace and love every where.

It's just common practise for people to try and push beliefs on others.

I mean, in their minds, their beliefs are in some way a foundation for the way they carry out their lives. So in turn, they feel that the knowledge they have could be used, and should be used by anyone and everyone around them. Regardless as to wether or not their beliefs or knowledge is tranferable to that persons life they are trying to "enlighten".

What you do and do not believe is most often because of traits you inherit from your family. Mother, brother, father, whomever it may be. Not nescesarily WHAT you believe, but your thought process and the ability to filter out what you do and do not believe

thank you ilikebigbuds. that was a good read and i get what your sayin. i've been tryin for years to sort out the crap i was tought and form my own beliefs. i gotta say that im a happier today than i've ever been because of this. i can't explain how i feel or what i believe but i totaly understand what your sayin. again thanks for sharin.

I have to disagree. Anger is one of the 6 basic emotions (happiness, sadness, fear, surprise, and disgust)

iLIKEBIGBUDS, I'm theer with ya on what we're made of. Everyone else who things that this divine energy thing is a shout out to god is wrong. It seems just a way to put ones wonderment with the whole situation (life!)

You should check out string theory man, I think its something you would find very interesting and parallel with what you already believe. As I see it, and backed up by string theory, we are all connectd, for all our densely packed molecules there is an exually undense outterspace, for the right and wrong in this dimension there is another with direction in the opposite, ect. I could go on and on, but you should really check it out, or PM me. I'm going back to school try try to learn some of the math to prove the theorys I have about it that arren't proven yet. Like I'm sure that years down the line they'll find that this string of energy that connects the tiniest of subatomic particle (every particle in the world, including pieces of light are connected this way) they'll find that when this string starts oscillating at an extremely high frequency, another particle will appear out of nowhere into a space nearby (from another dimension).

Sounds like someone is going to put the fear of God in him, LOL

Only fools fear what they don't understand. God is nothing but a creation of that fear.

ilikebigbuds: if you weren't refering to god
divine:
#

1. Having the nature of or being a deity.
2. Of, relating to, emanating from, or being the expression of a deity: sought divine guidance through meditation.
3. Being in the service or worship of a deity; sacred.

# Superhuman; godlike.

Thats the definition for the word divine.

I don't have time to rip into this in detail but will as soon as my house guests leave.

Tater, Why are you so put off by a word?
Why does it disturb you so?

Replace the word “divine” with the word “mysterious” or “unknown” if it makes you feel better for it makes no difference to me.

I just like the word; I think it is a lovely way to describe something.

And if ripping at me and my opinions help make you feel better about yourself, well then you’re welcome I am glad I could offer some release for you.

It really makes no difference for me. I enjoy the contrast.

Love and Peace, joy and sharing.

wouldn’t this be a boring place to experience if we all agreed about everything?!

what is this fear of God stuff? who is talking about fearing such things? You?
I do not fear God, for in my beliefs there is no such thing.

and I never mentioned God, YOU did.

because you have a belief that is formed from a word you assumed that.

there is nothing for anyone to ever fear. ever.

Bigbuds,
I liked your post.I'm not touching the evolution or creation thing, but the part about living for your happiness and not other's expectations-I hear ya.

So many of us enslave ourselves to others beliefs and what they expect.
I've been in the dumps last couple of days-
I can identify.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure every chocolate commercial one sees on TV uses the word divine. The word divine is commonly used in expressions out of line with its dictionary definitions. I think if you stepped back and looked as a subject matter as a whole you would see that God is not an issue here and is not being dicussed.

You forgot about a thousand more: Fear, insecurity, heplessness, Embarassment, ect...

And by the way...you actually agree with me, since we are saying the same thing.
