Fellow Growers...

I was awaken by a dog wanting to go outside to pee.
I got up, walked in the hall and saw that my 400w light was on!
I checked the time and it was on half an hour early!
Two days before harvest!

My God! the best timer was the one I was using, the other two undependable.
I am beginning to hate these mechanical timers.
I'll ask the guy at the grow shop but what better timer is available?
What do you guys use?

Thank you...

I hardwired a water heater/ pool control intermatic timer panel to my outlets for the grow area.
Looks like this, best timer I ever used . Not one failure yet.

I just use 2 cheep from harbor freight multi position timers.
9 bucks each. 2 plug outlets on each timer. Choice of on or off every 15min. Set for any on off time wanted in 24hrs.

I use these sonoff switches to control most of the scheduled stuff in my grow. There are several different models and even some using temp monitors and such. They are all controllable via WiFi and can also be scheduled and will carry in with no input for as long as the power is on...cheap too!!!

What kind of wattage are they rated to be used safely at

I think they are good for about 10 amps or so...

I use the same one as Stiggy. Mine is good for 50 amps and the most reliable thing in the grow room.

I use an Intermatic from the grow shop on the garage light. It cost $15, and runs a 1000w HID

I use the cheapest one from walmart for the inside. Pretty Funny huh. It doesn't even have a ground on it. lol
