To cover or not?

ok have a 2x2x4 grow tent against the wall . I have a vent in back that is uncovered

do i need to cover that at night on my 12/12 light schedual. I have three total on the bottom of the grow tent 2 on the sides and this one in back against the wall i cover the 2 on the side at night do i need to cover the back one thanks for the help. ps i have covered it for now till i get some advice.I didnt cover it at first thinking that where the air will come in. the other thing im doing is taking them all off during the 12 hr on light cycle. do i need to cover that vent at night ?
