Summer in Vegas is a time when sane humans adopt the habits of the Tortoise. Sleep during the most uncomfortable part of the day, hang out in the den, get to know where and when every store has parking shade and get there in an a/c vehicle. It is 7:00 PM and the local conditions are:

42°C

I would ask of you one thing, Please call 911 if anyone collapses in the heat. Heat kills insidiously and it may be hours after a collapse. By the time an individual collapses you have a medical emergency.

I would love to be in Vegas right now. We are at 92F today with a Rh of 78% !!!!!!!

Vegas at 108 and and only 7% humidity is what I refer to as, "comfortable". LMAO

Also, in Vegas when it gets hot, all the casinos on the strip have little "mist sprayers" that spray an incredibly fine mist of water out over the sidewalk. You never get wet but you stay nice and cool the entire walk. Love Vegas. Been there close to a hundred times since 1972. I have a couple friends that live there.

Only a few more months and I'll be swinging through Vegas on my way West. You'll know me when you see me. I'm the 40 foot motor home with pot leaves painted all over the sides. LMAO

While writing this reply I realized that you all have out of area code phones. (duh)

That comfortable you are enjoying is water wicking from your body. I am sure you will enjoy October; it is one of the most beautiful months in the Mojave Desert.

If all the tourists stayed on the strip I wouldn’t have to listen to my old lady ***** about the traffic.
This post was prompted by the “The Rucas Rant” in the local Medical Marijuana Magazine.
Singer /guitarist Todd Sampson collapsed after a show a while back. By all accounts he received excellent first aid for 30 minutes and felt well enough to leave with friends. Later he was found in convulsions and died on the way to the hospital. Victim of a heat stroke.


Tourists hang with tourists, if for any reason someone collapses, where ever, get medical help.
